Site Selection
We are interested in both greenfield and industrial sites with embedded generation possibilities.
Sites must have an average windspeed in excess of 6.3 m/s @ 45m. This ensures that the site will be suitable to allow turbines to work effectively.
Ideally the location would have an industrial landscape where tall structures are already present. This will ease the planning process but also hold better embedded generation possibilities. Sites must also be close to a 33kV or 11kV connections.
Sites also must benefit from no significant landscape or habitat designations. Locations must also be far enough away from housing, above the minimum requirement.
